We will add more to this page as we think of them, but here are the answers to our most Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. Where is your store?
A. In cyberspace only - we do not have any physical stores. We do from time to time sell at events such as science fiction and other conventions, but this is few and far between and only within Florida.

Q. Do you have everything in stock?
A. No, we actually stock very few items. This allows us to offer more variety though we admit increases delivery time. Most items ship within 5-10 business days however this varies depending on many factors including manufacturer’s availability and shipping times (some take a week or more just to get our order out of their warehouse), if the piece is handmade or imported, etc. Some manufacturers ship directly for us (dropship) and we do have a few items in stock from time to time - check the Availability section for the item you are interested in for details.

Q. Can you send me a catalog?
A. We do not publish printed catalogs due to the expense of them not to mention how quickly the would be “out of date” since we are always adding new items to the sites. We are adding a feature to allow you to print a “catalog” page - look for the printer icon when viewing an item details. So far this is only on Egyptianmarketplace.com but will be added to all our stores in the future.

Q. I cannot add items to my basket - what should I do?
A. Please make sure your browser has cookies and javascript enabled. In order to track items in your cart, a temporary cookie session is created. We make every effort to test our sites in all the common browsers - Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari and Chrome at the moment - but everyone’s settings are different. If you continue to have problems, just call us to place your order.

Q. What are your hours of operation?
A. Theoretically, 24/7 since when the office is closed, calls route to the owner’s home, however, naturally she doesn’t always answer the phone and does have to sleep sometimes (she’s cranky without sleep). We are located in Florida and our normal operating hours are 8 am to 8 pm Eastern Time 7 days a week. If no one is available, there is a voice mail system available so please leave a message (and speak clearly and slowly so we can call you back!).

Q. Can I call you if I don’t speak English very well?
A. Unfortunately, no one in our office speaks any language other than English.

Q. Would you consider carrying the products I make/distribute?
A. That depends on the product. You are welcome to send us catalogs or samples for us to take a look.
